Part-time, seasonal position. Monday-Friday, June 11-August 24 (except Wednesday, July 4), plus up to an additional 25 hours for training and organizing before camp (late May/early June). The ArtsCamp Assistant is assigned to a particular shift for the duration of the summer.
The ArtsCamp Assistant helps carry out the daily operations of The ArtsCenter’s arts-based camp programs for youth. This position is the primary point of contact for camp sign-in/sign-out and assists the Youth Education staff to ensure camps run smoothly, helps prepare facility for daily programs, assists teachers, helps with administrative duties of camp, helps supervise high school volunteer counselors, and helps lead recreational activities for campers during breaks, with additional duties as required.
