The Suicide Journals
Recipient of The Best Play, Best Ensemble, Top 5 shows and 4 1/2 stars during the 2015 Capital Fringe Festival of Washington, DC, The Suicide Journals aims to take an in-depth, intense and raw look at the world of teenage and young adult suicide. This run presents four characters from the full scale version of the piece: The Jumper, The Shooter, The Pill Popper and The Cutter. Each character represents some of the common methods of suicide/suicide attempts by youth while exploring issues of sexuality and religion, systematic injustices, racism, Islamophobia, bullying and abuse.

The show runs approximately 1 hour with no intermission. The performance will be followed by an educational panel session lasting 45 min – 1 hr.
A portion of proceeds will be donated to a non-profit in support of suicide awareness (refer to website for more information)
