AfterSchool Arts Immersion
AfterSchool Arts Immersion is the area’s only arts-based after school program for young artists in grades K-5. AAI features a new arts residency every two weeks, full and part-time enrollment options, transportation from select schools, and supervised homework time in a fun, safe, and creative environment!
Students must attend a minimum of 2 days a week. Monthly tuition prices can be found on the application form below. Transportation for the 2016-2017 school year is available from Carrboro Elementary, McDougle Elementary, Northside Elementary, and FPG Elementary. Apply soon to reserve your space!

Youth Arts Classes
Youth Arts Classes meet once a week for a select number of weeks. These classes are designed to offer young artists an engaging experience in their chosen art form.

MiniCamps are arts workshops held on CHCCS teacher workdays and select holidays. Half-day and full-day programs are available. Each MiniCamp features classes with four professional teaching artists and a variety of art forms. Upcoming projects and themes include Handbuilding, Hip Hop Dance, Drawing Techniques, Improv Theatre, and more. Reserve your spaces early- use the chart below to register online!

You must complete a separate transaction for EACH CHILD when registering online. Registration for an AM and PM MiniCamp session includes lunchtime supervision at no charge, but The ArtsCenter does not provide lunch. Campers should pack a lunch and two snacks (one for the morning and one for the afternoon).
Extended care is also available at no charge, beginning at 8:30 AM (camp activities begin at 9 AM) and ending at 5 PM (camp activities end at 4 PM). During extended care periods, students will have supervised free play time.
