Gratitude
What is gratitude? Gratitude is one of many positive emotions. It’s about focusing on what’s good in our lives and being thankful for the things we have.
With all of the uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus at the moment, things can feel pretty tough. It’s in these tough times that it is especially important to recognize the good around us and take a moment to appreciate what we are thankful for. Please take a moment to look though the following exercises about gratitude and choose one (or all!) to do by yourself or with your family. I would love to see what you create and will post all shared projects here!
I’d love to start today with a worksheet on gratitude. I found this online by a well-known art teacher and personal inspiration Cassie Stephens – her instagram is amazing btw! Please click each image for a link to a printable version! Don’t forget to show us what you made!
I am thankful for all our little artists!

Other ways to show gratitude:
-Write a letter to a friend and mail it to them
-Make a thankful collage filled with images of things you are thankful for. Use old magazines, bits of fabric, hand-drawn pictures or images from the computer.
-Make a thankful heart – cut out a heart and decorate it however you like. Give it to a friend when school starts back!
