One of the biggest challenges in learning to draw from direct observation is training our brains to draw what we actually see instead of generalizations. This class teaches how to look at objects in a way that allows us to translate them more easily and more accurately into a drawing. Instead of drawing a banana by placing a curved line next to another curved line because we *know* that is what a banana looks like, we will learn to stop and look at exactly how those curved lines are behaving.
