Age Range: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
We will explore the fun textures and patterns of some of our favorite animals and learn how to draw them step by step. We will use these drawings to create artwork and stories that we will get to share with our classmates. Together we will learn about where animals live, and how they take care of their homes.
Monday: Habitats and how to build a home for our animals. We’ll start with land animals in the Jungle, Forest, Snow, and Desert. A lot of space VS a little space. How can we help our forests? Animal sound game. Start tutorials.
Tuesday: Start step by step drawing.
Wednesday: Step by step drawings based on favorites. Add color and pattern.
Thursday: Continued… Draw their homes/backgrounds if there is time.
This class is conducted online! A computer with audio, video, and internet functionality is required. Student gives permission for The ArtsCenter and for instructor to use their image and comments in class recordings for promotional non-commercial purposes. Refunds and exchanges are not offered for online classes.
