In this introductory class, students will learn wheel-throwing fundamentals. Newcomers to the wheel will learn to center clay and throw basic cylindrical forms and bowls. Students with some experience are also welcome to come improve their skills and be guided to try larger or more complex forms and/or hand-altered pieces. All students will learn how to glaze/decorate their finished work. New to beginner students welcome—no previous wheel-throwing experience necessary.

Tuition includes one bag of clay and covers glazes and firing fees, but not tools. Students may need to purchase a basic tool kit prior to the first class.
