About the instructor: Nina Otterness graduated in 2012 from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Studio Art and a concentration in ceramics. After graduation she was a research collaborator with Professor Nam at UNC Chapel Hill for 2 years. She has been teaching at the Carborro Arts Center since 2014. She currently live in Mebane with her husband and two young boys as well as 11 geese and 7 ducks. She is currently working on expanding her knowledge of surface decoration techniques as well as combining her love of the natural world with her ceramic design.
This class is conducted online! A computer with audio, video, and internet functionality is required. Student gives permission for The ArtsCenter and for instructor to use their image and comments in class recordings for promotional non-commercial purposes. Refunds and exchanges are not offered for online classes.
