Ortega – Wednesdays, Feb 2 – Mar 9, 6-8:30pm (In-Person)
This class is about drawing objects from life, focusing on observation. We will study basic drawing concepts, such as line management, structure, tonal value, and textures. We will start from simple studies to more complex compositions. This class given in person is for all levels, and no prior drawing skills are required, but the development of a personal style will be encouraged. For technical accuracy, we will use graphite pencils only, and at the end, we will carry out a final project using colored pencils or another technique such as oil pastels or wax crayons. This class is for beginners, drawing enthusiasts, and advanced artists interested to learn different methodologies.
