Family-Friendly Transactors Improv presents A Midsummer Night’s (Improv!) Dream
It’s a midsummer night (or evening, at least) and a great time to celebrate Shakespeare and a little bit of magic! We will do just that as we focus on fairies, surprises, wilderness, and the playwright himself. Come prepared to hear the random “forsooth,” “verily,” “fie,” or “zwodder” (drowsy and stupid state of body or mind).
The show is fully improvised, appropriate for all ages, and based on your suggestions. The cast includes director Anoo Tree Brod, Bart Hubbard, and Steve Scott.
Audience member Annabel S. says Family-Friendly Transactors Improv is “amazing, engaging, charming, hilarious entertainment… The only complaint I could possibly have is that it will be over too soon.”
This 45-minute performance features short-form improv – individual scenes running 5-10 minutes and based on audience suggestions.
Everything is made up on the spot, and the content is appropriate for children and adults… and adults who act like children.
Transactors has a long history of entertaining audiences of all ages. The company originated as a children’s theater and has performed in schools throughout the southeast.
