Class description: In this course we will build on your previous wheel experience by planning forms before centering and throwing with more deliberate intention.  We will look to ceramic art history as well as modern ceramic artists for inspiring forms and decorative techniques.  Come to class with personal throwing goals and we will work to achieve them! Prerequisite: at least one beginning wheel-throwing course.

Materials needed: Wheel-throwing and trimming tools (a basic set), a hand towel and apron (optional).

Materials provided by: Students will be responsible for collecting and bringing their own materials to class

All ArtSchool Classes are for 15 and up unless otherwise specified.

ArtSchool Class Enrollment Policy

Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment within 3 business days of their start will be cancelled, and any purchased tuition will be fully refunded.

Exchange and Cancellation Policy

You may request a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. You may request a transfer of your enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. We do not process requested refunds or transfers within 5 business days of the start of a class, nor after the class has begun.
