This course will cover the basics of working with clay slabs to construct functional wares and sculptural objects. Students will learn to use templates to design their creations, work with soft and leather-hard slabs, and surface design and glazing techniques.

 

Tuition includes the cost of a bag of clay, glaze materials, and firing fees.

You may request a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. You may request a transfer of your enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. We do not process requested refunds or transfers within 5 business days of the start of a class, nor after the class has begun.

$25/bag of clay (beyond one bag included in course fee)

 

Masks must be worn at all times. Students are required to show instructors a proof of vaccination before attending in-person classes. Refunds and exchanges are not offered for in-person classes offered during the pandemic.
