Introduction to Quilting | 6.20 – 8.1

Learn the basic steps involved in making a quilt, how to choose and cut your fabric, and how to create a basic quilt block that is the building block for most quilt patterns. This will be a hands-on class with instructor provided demos of different quilting techniques. Students will need to have basic knowledge of how to operate a sewing machine to take this class. The ArtsCenter is excited to introduce new instructor Ida couch, a Chapel Hill native and fabric artist who has been  a member of the AAQC (African American Quilt Circle) in Durham since 1998.

Refund and Exchange Policy

You may request a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. You may request a transfer of your enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. We do not process requested refunds or transfers within 5 business days of the start of a class, nor after the class has begun.
