Breen – Tuesdays, Sep 7 – Nov 9, 6-9 pm (In-Person)

In this intensive course, students will be introduced to foundational forms and techniques in wheel thrown ceramics. Each meeting will consist of demos followed by open studio time where the students are free to practice demonstrated forms or explore their own projects. Students will learn the basic chemistry of ceramics and glazes and will learn to throw diverse forms ranging from mugs to teapots. Students of all experience levels are encouraged to join.

 

Tuition includes the cost of a bag of clay, glaze materials, and firing fees. Students should come to the back of The ArtsCenter building to access the ceramics studio entrance and patio. In-person classes offered during the pandemic are conducted at a low maximum capacity and with social distancing measures in place. Masks must be worn at all times. Students are required to sign a liability waiver before attending in-person classes. Refunds and exchanges are not offered for in-person classes offered during the pandemic.

All ArtSchool registrations have a $3 processing fee added upon check-out.
