Class description: In this course students will be guided through fun collaborative activities that loosen up the creative juices. Classes will explore drawing and line work, painting and color, mixed media and texture, and illustration/narrative art. Ever watched a child draw and been jealous of their intuition and zest? In this class we will travel back in time to that experimental, explorative, spontaneous space. In doing so we will learn about our own creative styles and spirits, and at the very least, have some fun!

Materials needed: Bring a sketchbook. All other materials will be provided by the instructor

Materials provided by: Instructor will collect materials and make them available for students; students will be required to bring a materials fee to the first class to reimburse the instructor

Materials fee: $20

Age Range for this Class

All ArtSchool Classes are for 15 and up unless otherwise specified.

ArtSchool Class Enrollment Policy

Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment within 3 business days of their start will be cancelled, and any purchased tuition will be fully refunded.

Exchange and Cancellation Policy

You may request a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. You may request a transfer of your enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. We do not process requested refunds or transfers within 5 business days of the start of a class, nor after the class has begun.

ArtSchool scholarships are given out on a semester-by-semester basis. Please fill out our online application here.

You may also download a copy (English) (Espanol) to print and fill out. Please submit these to the Box Office in an envelope addressed to ArtSchool Manager Anna Hewett.
