Students will explore sculptural jewelry in this two day creative workshop. Materials include: PMC3 fine silver metal clay, EZ960 sterling silver metal clay, and PMC Flex silver clay. Many aspects of metal clays will be covered including: building hollow forms, texturing the clays, and unusual stone settings. Projects may include constructing a box pendant, a vessel pendant, and more. Janet Harriman’s metal clay jewelry is included in many metal clay books and publications. She has also written a number of articles on metal clay techniques.

Supplies for the workshop will run about $100.00 for two packs of silver clay. Students can purchase additional packets of silver clay during the workshop at market pricing. The instructor will bring silver metal clay and small gem stones to the workshop. A prior knowledge of working with metal clay will be helpful when taking this workshop.
