Personalize your art & art journals by making your own collage papers! In this class you will explore different mixed media techniques in order to create layered painted papers.

Some things we will explore are: choosing a color palette, different kinds of paper, asemic writing, and using a variety of mediums & tools to make our marks.

The second part of this class will delve into how to use these papers. Some possibilities are: as collage in a journal, to create a handmade book, to create postcards/artist trading cards… You will leave with painted papers to use in your future projects!
