Printmaking: Monoprints

A monoprint is an image painted on a glass (or plexiglass) plate, then transferred on to paper. Unlike other forms of printmaking, monoprints do not require much technical skill or preparation, so they are great for beginners and people who don’t like to plan. In this class, we’ll be using some unconventional methods that don’t require a press to make the prints. The process tends to unleash the imagination, so it’s a great place for some untethered self-expression!
