This class explores many basic techniques used in flameworking. Students will learn how to safely operate different types of glassworking equipment and use a variety of tools to manipulate molten glass. In this two-day class we will create many solid and blown glass objects such as marbles, paperweights, pendants, and ornaments. We will also experiment with many forms of glass such as frit, and striking colors.
