Class room: Ceramics

Class description: Beginners are welcome in this class where we will examine the steps necessary for creating on the potter’s wheel. We will learn and refine skills at each step in the process, taking special note of opportunities for decoration and embellishment.

Tuition includes a bag of clay, plus glazing and firing fees.

Minimum enrollment: 5

Maximum enrollment: 8

Materials needed: a basic 8 piece pottery tool kit (also clay supplied by the studio)

Materials provided by: Students will be responsible for collecting and bringing their own materials to class

Age Range for this Class

All ArtSchool Classes are for 15 and up unless otherwise specified.

ArtSchool Class Enrollment Policy

Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment within 3 business days of their start will be cancelled, and any purchased tuition will be fully refunded.

Exchange and Cancellation Policy

You may request a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. You may request a transfer of your enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. We do not process requested refunds or transfers within 5 business days of the start of a class, nor after the class has begun.

ArtSchool scholarships are given out on a semester-by-semester basis. Please fill out our online application here.
