Shane Peterson– Tuesdays, Apr 5 – May 10, 6:30pm-8:00pm (In-person)
Writing a novel can be so daunting a task that many aspiring authors get stuck at the beginning and stay there indefinitely. For this class, we will learn more about how to begin writing your novel by starting off on the right foot and maintaining the momentum needed to carry on until the end. We will discuss how to combat writer’s block, how to create an effective opening in, how to “set the stage,” how to properly introduce a cast of characters, and how to establish the book’s main conflicts or themes that will keep your audience engaged.
Masks must be worn at all times. Students are required to show instructors a proof of vaccination before attending in-person classes. Refunds and exchanges are not offered for in-person classes offered during the pandemic.
All ArtSchool registrations have a $3 processing fee added upon check-out.
