This is not a handbuilding or wheelthrowing class -- students will learn to combine ceramics with drawing and pattern-making through a variety of surface design techniques. It's recommended that students have some experience working with clay, but beginners are welcome too.
Build on your previous wheel experience by planning forms before centering and throwing with more deliberate intention.
