Project Description

Aaron Keane is a multifaceted audio maker and arts educator. Recent projects include the score of “Tony Fauci” a PBS American Master special 2022. Music producer and composer for the Netflix series “Headspace” 2021, Co-Director of the “The History of White People in America” an animated musical film series that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival April 2019, “Decoding Watson” a film for PBS American Masters released Jan 2019, “Lore” a series for Amazon. Other projects include podcasts for Garden And Gun Magazine, Hightower Low Down, SNCC, Duke University and SwitchPoint. Aaron’s 20 plus years of experience range from album projects, commercials, broadcast TV, film and new media. As an engineer, he has worked with a diverse group of musical artists, from Folk singer/ song writer Shawn Colvin to Hip Hop vocalist Mos Def. As a composer/ producer, he has made sound/ music for several TV networks including HBO, Amazon, Netflix, PBS, Discovery and TLC. He is currently teaching Songwriting with the Digital Audio Workstation at NC State as well as various music and audio projects.
