Richard Krawiec designed and teaches Beginning, Intermediate Fiction Writing courses online for UNC-Chapel Hill. He won the Excellence in Teaching Award for his work.

Richard Krawiec’s first novel, Time Sharing (Viking Penguin) was reviewed by such luminaries as Michiko Kakutani & Richard Eder, and featured in Publisher’s Weekly Recommended List. His 3 most recent novels published in France have been highlighted at conferences and readings across France, and received excellent reviews from Rolling Stone, and L’Obs (the French equivalent of Newsweek), among others. His stories have been shortlisted for Best American Short Stories. He has received grants from the NEA, and the NC Arts Council (twice).
