Project Description

Samuel Bordley is an art historian and classical painter from Durham, North Carolina.  He graduated from DSA with a pathway in painting, earned a bachelor’s degree in Art History from VCU, and went on to study at the Academy of Classical Design with Dr. Jeffery Mims. Following this, he earned a master’s degree in Art History from John Cabot Univeristy in Rome and then moved to Florence for three years of study in old master practice painting with Charles H. Cecil.
