Dollars for Scholars - every dollar helps!
The ArtsCenter provides a variety of scholarships for both youth and adults. Scholarships are offered for art classes, summer camps, and tickets to attend one of our performances. We’ve been doing it for years, and have absorbed the cost as part of our mission. Unfortunately, the need has risen above our ability to fund. You can help by giving a dollar today! Donate on line, or visit our Box Office the next time you are at The ArtsCenter. 100% of the proceeds will benefit our scholarship program, and help us bring art to the lives of people in our area.

Business and corporate partners help provide critical support for TAC’s programs, our "creativity incubator" – and the understanding that a quality experience in the arts can build a strong foundation for tomorrow's leaders. Gifts and in-kind donations help supplement the cost of artist's fees, so that we can continue to present high-quality performers at affordable prices, allow us to purchase supplies for our AfterSchool Arts Immersion Program, provide scholarships to both children and adults, help us "behind-the-scenes", and continue to analyze and improve the quality of our programs. Sponsorships as well as plentiful marketing opportunities are available for a variety of our programs.

Unrestricted Gifts
Unrestricted annual giving is vital to the financial strength of The ArtsCenter. Annual gifts sustain The ArtsCenter’s mission, enhance its educational programs, and maintain outreach in to the community. We invite you to become a Member and support the Annual Fund.
Gifts in Honor or Memory
You may honor or remember someone special to you through a gift to The ArtsCenter. Please send information about the family or person so they can be notified of your thoughtful gift. All honor and memorial gifts are acknowledged in The ArtsCenter’s Honor Roll of Donors.
Restricted Gifts
You may restrict your gift for a special purpose, such as obtaining items (see our KAC campaign) or giving to a specific program, concert or performance. If you are interested in designating your gift for a special purpose, please contact the Development Department (development@artscenterlive.org.)
In-Kind Donations
The ArtsCenter also welcomes donations of goods or services.
Gifts of Stock
You may wish to support The ArtsCenter with a gift of stock. Electronic Transfer is the most efficient way to transfer securities to The ArtsCenter. Download our PDF guide on how to best make your stock gift contribution. Additionally, If you wish to make a gift of stock to The ArtsCenter, please contact the Development Department (development@artscenterlive.org.), so that we will be aware of your gift and can match the stock with the donor.
Charitable Bequests
Including a charitable bequest in your will is a simple way to make a lasting gift to The ArtsCenter and your community! You can decide to leave a bequest at any age by adding to an existing will or drafting a new one. You can choose to give a stated dollar amount, a specific property, a percentage of your estate, the remainder after distributions to other beneficiaries, or you can make your gift contingent on certain events.
Leave a legacy to The ArtsCenter and your community, while enjoying the assets you need to maintain your current lifestyle. Plus, the assets distributed to The ArtsCenter are exempt from estate tax. For more information about how your charitable bequest can benefit The ArtsCenter, please contact the Development Department (development@artscenterlive.org.). Consulting your tax advisor or planning professional is also recommended.

Once you add the ArtsCenter toolbar for IE or Firefox, each time you shop at one of the more than 1,300 participating stores, a percentage of what you spend will be donated to us at no extra cost to you! (you could even save money as the toolbar provides coupons and deals). The toolbar also has a search box and each time you search the Internet, about a penny is donated to us. Donate Through Community Partnerships
Since January 1, 2003, The ArtsCenter proudly joined Harris Teeter's Together In Education program. It's an easy and free way to donate to The ArtsCenter every time you shop! Simply give the cashier our code, 5211, and your VIC card when you check out and your card will be linked through May. Once your card is linked, The ArtsCenter will receive at least 2% of your Harris Teeter brand (Harris Teeter Premium Selection, H.T. Traders, Harris Teeter Naturals, Hunter Farms, Highland Crest and More Value) purchases credited back to our account. Program participants will need to renew their card linkage in the summer. Of course, this program does not interfere with your VIC savings!
Food Lion is also giving a portion of MVP (their yellow ³discount² card) sales to The ArtsCenter. To register to support The ArtsCenter, visit www.foodlion.com, and click on the "Lion Shop & Share link to the right. You will enter your Food Lion MVP number, name and address, and then choose The ArtsCenter. You can register over the phone by calling their Customer Service line: 1-800-210-9569, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers must sign up each year to participate in the Lion Shop & Share program. Additionally, customers need to designate The ArtsCenter as their organization of choice before each quarter of the year begins.
