About the Semi Circle Revival
For well over a decade, Danny Gotham and friends held “The Circle Shows” in the old ArtsCenter on Main St. in Carrboro, NC. We’ve revived the show in the new Theater and will present the Semi Circle Revival on Sunday afternoon, June 1st at 4pm.
Danny’s friends in this show include Circle Show regular suspects such as Jim Watson and Jack Herrick (Red Clay Ramblers), Bobb Head, LaNelle Davis, Stan Brown, Al McCanless, Omar Ruiz-Lopez and Rebecca Newton. We also have special guest Billy Cardine on dobro and slide guitar. And – introducing Brooke Murgitroyd on vocals.
ABOUT BILLY CARDINE
Billy Cardine is a genre-blurring composer, slide guitarist, multi – instrumentalist who currently performs with a variety of bands and is an active session musician and producer. He has been featured on, BBC World’s Destination Music, the PBS Roadtrip Nation, the new Jerry Douglas Production “Southern Filibuster”, The History Channel’s Our Generation, and at The Ryman Auditorium, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Bonnaroo and NPR’s Mountain Stage.
ABOUT THE ARTSCENTER
We currently do NOT have paper tickets, only electronic receipts. We have your name and info in our system so all you have to do is show up and check in at the door or the Box Office and Theater entrance in the back of the building.
The (NEW) ArtsCenter is located at 400 Roberson St. Carrboro NC. All shows are seated. We have a bar with wine, beer, cider, soft drinks and snacks. We also have water stations where you can fill up your own water bottle or if you need an eco cup, just ask! We do not charge for water. The ArtsCenter is now working with COMPOST NOW recycling all beverage products.
