Happy October AfterSchool Arts Immersion Parents and Guardians!
This blog post contains updates about this month’s AAI programming as well as some MiniCamp information moving forward.
As many of you know, our Minicamps for the months of September through November were covered by grant funding this year. Tuition was included for everyone enrolled in the AfterSchool Arts Immersion Program. However, beginning with our first spring MiniCamp on January 24, 2022, we will charge an $80.00 public rate and a discounted rate of $68.00 for patrons. Additionally, we will cap the number of students for future MiniCamps to 20 students, so please make sure you register your student using the links below:
November 1 (Monday)
November 2 (Tuesday)
November 11 (Thursday)
Please refer to our first blog post, linked here, for other upcoming MiniCamp dates. We will notify you if a MiniCamp date is at capacity and is no longer accepting registrations.
Additionally, we are currently brainstorming a Halloween and Día de Los Muertos celebration for Thursday, October 28th, and Friday, October 29th. If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment below!
As we are continually striving to improve programmatic offerings, your feedback is greatly appreciated. We are also working with an Equity Advocate Trainer to audit our programs for areas of growth, so look forward to more culturally diverse events and educational opportunities. These opportunities, along with our conversations about gender and pronouns, align with our mission to make the ArtsCenter a safer, more inclusive space for all.
Lastly, we want to remind everyone that the hours for AAI are 2:50-6:00 Monday through Friday. As we share the space with adult classes starting in the evening, we want to respect their space and time by ensuring that our classrooms and lobby are available for them to use.
Thus, please note that a late fee of $1 per minute will be applied if your child is picked up later than 6pm. The late fee can be made by cash, check or card at the Box Office. This policy is located both on our website and in the Family Guide. While we have been lenient because of the adjustment period, this policy will be fully enforced effective immediately.
