Have you heard of the Artist in Residence (AIR) Program at the ArtsCenter?
The Artist in Residence (AIR) Program is a collaborative effort between the ArtsCenter and the Orange County School District that brings arts-enriched curriculum to roughly 2,000 students across five focus schools at no cost to families. Each residency fuses artistic disciplines, district and state standards, and social-emotional learning in lesson plans that resonate with students’ experiences and academic aspirations.

This year we are excited to bring together AIR Program work from each of the 5 focus schools to display in the ArtsCenter Youth Gallery. The show will be on display from 05/19-05/31. See gallery hours here.
To celebrate this hard work, community members are invited to a Gallery Opening Night on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 from 6-8pm at the ArtsCenter (400 Roberson St). We will serve light refreshments, celebrate student artwork, and share photos and videos from the residencies.
Can’t make it but still want to support free arts programming in local schools? It only costs $50 per student to provide 5 days of individualized arts programming and a professional live performance! Make a donation here to ensure the longevity of this program.
