Nancy Peterson is a Human Resources (HR) Consultant and was Vice President of HR for large New York City corporations.

Nancy came to The ArtsCenter Board with broad, diverse experience in non-profit board leadership, including the following: Weathersfield HOA Board,Vice-President and Secretary (Fearrington Village, Pittsboro), and President of three (3) volunteer arts organizations in Winston-Salem: at Reynolda House Museum of American Art, Piedmont Opera, and the North Carolina Museum of Art (Winston-Salem). In 2025, she was chosen as Piedmont Opera’s Honorary Gala Co-Chair and has served on its Executive Board and as Chair of the Human Resources Committee.

Additional Board positions state-wide have included Child Care Resources Center (Winston-Salem), Terpsicorps Dance Company (Asheville), Triad Stage (Greensboro), and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) (Winston-Salem Chapter).
