Shannon Henry is a born and raised Texan who moved to Carrboro in 2025! Shannon holds a B.A. with majors in geography, sociology and sustainability studies from the University of Texas at Austin. She has traveled around the world, studying the politics of protecting the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, monarch migration in Mexico and sustainable coffee growing in Colombia. Shannon is currently completing her MS in Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her free time, Shannon likes to beekeep!
