Tom Galloway grew up overseas in Germany, the Phillipines, and Turkey, and was exposed to diverse art forms from a young age. After attending Groton School outside of Boston, he earned a BA in History and Public Policy Studies from Duke, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. In 2012, after a successful career on Wall Street, Tom semi-retired and returned to Durham. He currently serves on multiple investment fund boards, advises start-ups, and is a private investor. Tom also supports local Arts organizations financially and operationally, and enjoys interacting with artists and other like-minded people in the community. He served on the American Dance Festival board in Durham from 2018-2022. Tom currently lives in the woods near Jordan Lake in Chapel Hill with his partner Dana.
