February 13th: Story Connection (Live Storytelling)

Date(s): THURSDAY, FEB 13th, 2025
Type of Show: Live Storytelling
Showtime: 7:30 pm
Tickets: Suggested donation, sliding scale: $0, $10, $15

No screens or sound effects. Just real humans telling true stories. That’s Story Connection.

The mission of Story Connection is to help people find their unique voice and create community through live storytelling performances and classes. This performance showcases the funny, sad, and very human stories students have developed during this fall’s Live Storytelling class.

Story Connection is generously funded by a grant from the Orange County Arts Commission, though that does not cover all of its expenses. All Story Connection performances are ticketed on a sliding scale, with funds collected supporting financial aid for classes and performance costs. Those who are able to purchase tickets are encouraged to do so, and free tickets are available for those who cannot contribute. Additional donations are welcome, and can be accepted onsite at the event.

Julia F. Green is a writing instructor and coach whose mission is to help people find their unique voice and spread creative joy to humans of all identities and experiences. Learn more at writingisjoy.com

The show will be on February 13 at 7:30pm at the (new) ArtsCenter (400 Roberson St., Carrboro). Come by a little early and enjoy a beverage at our bar and peruse the gallery exhibits. The show will run approximately 2 hours with intermission.

This show may include mature topics and is recommended for ages 18+
