Join us for Black Sheep Comedy Night, where the Triangle’s best indie comedy teams take the stage! Get treated to THREE brand-new, never-before-seen comedy sets made up right before your eyes. Witness the kind of magic you can’t rewind, can’t binge-watch, and can’t find online – the kind that leaves you saying, “You had to be there.” And you’ll be glad you were.
Featuring:
- The Safeword is Martha Stewart is a long-form improv duo from Durham, North Carolina. They explore the space around an initial scene based on an audience-supplied location creating a non-linear story. Like Pulp Fiction, minus the Academy Award and star-studded cast. The safeword tonight is fun!
- Plot Holes is a narrative improv team that creates an unforgettable story on the fly. Based on an audience suggestion, Plot Holes weaves a cohesive story with no discussion ahead of time, no plan – just eccentric characters and inevitable plot holes. Fall into a story no one saw coming!
- Rigsbee Avenue is a triangle based improv troupe made of actors and improvisers performing improvised plays. We are very character driven. We don’t take audience suggestions or follow any preconceived themes. We just start the show to discover who we are, where we are going and how we’ll get there.
Always indie, always fresh, always funny!
