The NC ArtsCast: A Vision for Orange County, Part 1

December 6, 2017

In the first episode of the NC ArtsCast, Jenks talks with Katie Murray, the new Coordinator of the Orange County Arts Commission, about her previous position as the Executive Director at Arts of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City, the economic factors in play in northeastern North Carolina’s arts scene, and the role public arts organizations play in bridging gaps in arts access for some rural populations.

The NC ArtsCast is an episodic podcast focused on issues of Placemaking, identity, public art, and arts policy in The Tar Heel State. This podcast is made possible in part by a grant from the Orange County Arts Commission and distributed in partnership with The ArtsCenter in Carrboro.
