  • Chatty Yeti is a long-form improv team made up of four people: Cary, Leah, Chris and Kara. Based on a suggestion of something that fits in a suitcase that you wouldn’t ordinarily find there, they build a world of characters and take them on a journey. They have a narrative form that springs from an environment they create at the top of the set with a scene paint!
  • Book Club is an improv show inspired by a book they didn’t read.

Each show, a guest shares their thoughts on a recent book they’ve read. They talk about how the book moved them, what stuck with them, and the moral questions it raised. Then they do dumb improv.

It’s a book club with no homework!

Show Us Your Teeth showcases the dramedy of life by bringing committed performances to absurd characters. A long-form improv team of two, the friends who comprise SUYT have a shared goal of creating immersive, intimate, and hilarious scenes based on your suggestions.

Plot Holes is a narrative improv team that creates an unforgettable story on the fly. Based on an audience suggestion, Plot Holes weaves a cohesive story with no discussion ahead of time, no plan – just eccentric characters and inevitable plot holes. Fall into a story no one saw coming!

The ArtsCenter Gallery shows are (almost always) seated. We have a nice bar with wine, beer, cider, soft drinks, snacks and always free water. If you need special assistance, please do contact us at boxoffice@artscenterlive.org or 919.929.2787 and we’ll be sure to accommodate you as best as we can.
