“I am originally from Colorado, and growing up at the base of the Rockies greatly influenced my development as an artist. I have always spent a great deal of time outside, and I love to travel both within the U.S. and abroad. My love for traditional ethnic jewelry sparked my interest in becoming a jeweler, and I have studied beading and metal-smithing alongside other accomplished artists and jewelers.
“In my work I attempt to bring together unexpected materials from all over the world, both new and antique. I love to work with the organic quality of hand-cut gemstones and ethnic beads and combine these with the classic beauty of metal. I am inspired by ancient art and the natural world, and I like to create contemporary pieces with a connection to the past.”
