Create Your Lasting Legacy
Just as a seer visualizes the future, members of The Seer Society are patrons who recognize The ArtsCenter's evolving role and potential in our community. The Seer Society comprises supporters recognized for their commitment to The ArtsCenter through planned gifts or estate plans. These giving structures empower donors to meaningfully contribute to The ArtsCenter either during their lifetimes or as a deferred gift after passing.
As we embark on our next 50+ year journey and build a new home, we invite you to create a lasting legacy by joining the Seer Society. Your gift will fortify The ArtsCenter's long-term vitality and help manifest our vision: crafting an education-rich environment where people of all ages and skills can engage with the arts.
Ways To Contribute
Charitable Bequests
This gift, defined in your will or trust, directs assets or funds to The ArtsCenter. You can specify a gift amount or designate a percentage of your overall estate.
Gifts of Life Insurance
Consider naming The ArtsCenter as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy or death benefit via your pension
Gifts from Retirement Plans
Name The ArtsCenter as a beneficiary of your retirement plans, such as a 401(k), 403(b), or an IRA. You can also designate non-qualified retirement assets like annuities. Updating your beneficiary designations to include The ArtsCenter allows you to allocate up to 100% of plan assets. This is an attractive option for donors with substantial non-retirement assets, as charities aren’t taxed on these assets, but non-charity beneficiaries are.
Lifetime Gifts from an IRA
If you’re 70 ½ or older, you may make a charitable contribution of up to $100,000 directly to The ArtsCenter from your traditional IRA. This counts towards your annual required minimum distribution, but it doesn’t qualify for a charitable income tax deduction.
